Hexagon Metrology operates a unified network of service centers throughout the world providing our customers prompt repair, certification and calibration services, relocation of your CMM and preventive maintenance. We service all Hexagon Metrology brands and models including Brown & Sharpe, DEA, Leitz, Sheffield, and Starrett (CMM only). Non-Hexagon Metrology CMM brands can be certified via our Universal Calibration Services group.
Since we are the orignal equipment manufacturer, we have access to all the original drawings, specifications, firmware and original spare parts for your CMM. Third-party service organizations don't necessarily have this complete information, so it's best to understand what exactly you are being quoted so you can compare apples to apples. You will find that often the true cost of the service is equal or lower through the OEM.
